Eid-ul Fitr

The end of Ramadan (period of fasting), is marked on the first day of the month of Shawaal in the Islamic Calendar as Kuda Eid.A festival that marks the end of the 30 days long fasting all the muslims abide with.

The day begins with the eid prayer at the mosque, which is attended by most of the young and old, males and females.Following this  delicious food, snacks, special delicacies and sweets are prepared on the occasion at each household, to revive the festive mood. Friends, relatives and neighbours all visit in turns just to greet on the blessed occassion.

Kuda Eid, with it brings a joyful three days break to the workaholics and school going.
