Government to reopen Nasandura hotel

The government will re-open Nasandura Palace Hotel, according to Dr Ahmed Sawad, the minister of tourism, arts and culture, reports Miadhu.

Sawad said the decision to re-open Nasandura was made because of a delay in opening another hotel in Male’ by the Shangri-La hotel chain and to increase state revenue.

The hotel’s inventory is now being audited, following which the hotel will be put up for bid.
