Maldives Police Services has revealed that the First Secretary of the Indian High Commission, Narayan Swami, has paid a visit to the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Faseeh. The meeting was held in the Commissioner's Office on Monday afternoon.
In the meeting Swami extended congratulations and gratitude to the Commissioner and expressed that the friendly relations between the police organizations of the two countries could be further strengthened in the future, Maldives Police Services revealed.
Maldives Police Commissioner expressed gratitude to Swami for making the courtesy call and expressed that there was room for the strengthening of the bond between the police organizations of the two countries.
He further extended gratitude to the Indian government for allowing officers of the Maldivian Police Service to receive special training at Indian facilities.
