President Rajapaksa invites President Nasheed to visit Sri Lanka
President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa has extended an invitation to President Nasheed, to make a state visit to Sri Lanka. The invitation letter was presented to Special Envoy of the President, Mr. Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, during his courtesy call on President Rajapaksa.
During Zaki’s unofficial visit to Sri Lanka, he met with the Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka, Rohitha Bogollagama; Foreign Secretary; Defense Secretary; the British High Commissioner and the American Ambassador. He also participated in a one-one show of MTV.
