Nalahiya Hotel celebrates second anniversary
Nalahiya Hotel, one of the biggest hotels in Male’, has celebrated its second anniversary. As part of activities held to mark anniversary the hotel staff with assistance of Maldivers, a diving center in Male’, has cleaned the house reef and the beach of Vilingili of Kaafu atoll.
Human Resources Officer of Nalahiya Hotel Shazra Mohamed said work commenced yesterday morning and by the end of day a large part of the house reef and beach were cleaned. She further said the hotel undertook a cleaning project to mark the anniversary as yesterday coincided with Earth Day.
“This was a joint effort undertaken by family members of both Nalahiya Hotel and Maldivers” Shazra informed.
She further said, as part of the anniversary day activities, staff of the hotel would donating blood to thalassemic children on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Nalahiya Hotel is a modern luxuriously furnished business hotel situated in the center of Male’ and has 42 rooms. The hotel has fully equipped conference facilities and a business center as well as large conference hall. The hotel was opened on 23 March 2007.
